The M2 Router's design is a testament to the importance of structural design in supporting components, carrying out essential functions, and minimizing system noise. For instance, it features an air-vented hood to combat overheating, a common issue in WiFi routers. The minimalistic approach of the M2's design ensures it fits comfortably in homes and complements most decors. Moreover, the M2 system allows users to connect several units, catering to the unique blueprints of different homes and maximizing Wi-Fi coverage.
What sets the Mercku M2 WiFi Router apart is its revolutionary industrial design coupled with cutting-edge technology. It addresses WiFi speed and coverage issues by transmitting information and reaching a range that is twenty percent better than current products. The system's meshed network capabilities enable the connection of multiple M2 units, building a stronger network overall. The M2 Routers also support signal boosters to extend the range, providing users with full wireless coverage of their homes.
The M2 Wi-Fi Router is driven by a patented antenna design, an in-house built transceiver, and reduced system noise. The antenna was designed by the team that revolutionized smartphones, and the transceiver results in much more efficiency. The Wi-Fi has reduced system noise, applying theories crafted over the past decade, all resulting in superior performance. This product is easy to use and starts working the moment it's plugged in.
Research was a significant part of the design process. More than 500 candidates were polled, and it was concluded that over fifty percent of people have areas of low WiFi connectivity and desire flexibility. This research led to the concept of the M2 WiFi router and the ability to link up many router units. The challenge of balancing performance and aesthetics was overcome by adding an innovative heat vent to the top of the unit, preserving functionality without sacrificing design.
The M2 Wi-Fi units are available as a standalone, covering up to 3000 square feet of space, and can also be joined together in a mesh network. The exterior design allows the unit to blend into any home seamlessly. The patented antenna and transceiver are designed in-house by a team with decades of experience, powering the entire system. This design was awarded Silver in A' Digital and Electronic Device Design Award in 2018, a testament to its remarkable level of excellence and innovation.
